    • Having GPS guidance in the truck opens doors to solving manpower challenges.  Is part of your crew out with the flu? Simply attach the GPS enabled device to your windshield, select the route to drive, then follow the path laid out. On screen notification of approaching turns appear, and special instructions for treatment appear near their relevant locations. Is there a special road hazard, maneuver method, or note a new driver should be aware of? If so, they can be loaded into the device in advance, and appear on screen upon approach.

    Each winter operations are tasked with driver education. Part of this training  includes educating the drivers on their routes, and where they will encounter hazards.

     With in cab navigation drivers select their route from a menu, and are guided by GPS and map along their prescribed optimized route. This means no more getting lost, and surface physical hazards are clearly identified.
